Time to P-A-R-T-Y...

Caleb is 8! It is so hard to believe that 8 years ago today I woke up expecting to go to work, and had a baby (3 weeks early) instead. He has grown from a cute little 6lb 6oz baby to a 47 pound boy with a great sense of humour, a wonderful personality and a sensitivity for others...oh and add a little bit of 8-year-old attitude. Caleb LOVES to play with LEGO and reads for hours on end. Our book of choice these days is The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles by Julie Andrews Edward (yep the Sound of Music Julie Andrews)- a really good read so far.

Caleb enjoyed celebrating his birthday with some school buddies. Ernie did some magic tricks for them (oh the innocence of childhood), they played outside and in, had cake (I decorated an R2D2 cake which Caleb thought was pretty cool) and just had lots of fun. Caleb is blessed with some great friends. Here are some pictures of the day...

Caleb - we love you and are so grateful for the child you are. You have an infectious laugh, a beautiful smile and a caring heart. We pray that you will grow to become of strong man of God, serving Him and those around you. God has given you many gifts and we are excited to see how you will use them as you grow. We love you!
